In order to provide our guests with the cleanest and most comfortable stay possible, there is
No Smoking permitted in any of our rentals. You may smoke outside with the door closed.
Check-In is 3:00 pm or later ; Check-out by 11:00 am. We will happily accommodate requests for late check-ins.
ResortTahoe cannot be responsible for weather, road conditions, passes or resort conditions and will not offer refunds based solely on these concerns. We recommend the purchase of travel insurance.
ResortTahoe strictly adheres to South Tahoe vacation rental ordinances. Maximum occupancy and number of cars parked on site are unique to each property and will be accurately described and agreed to in contract, as will the required handling of trash. Guests will not disturb neighbors with excess noise, trash or parked cars. Any violation (i.e. as evidenced by complaints or Police attendance) may result in immediate eviction without refund, loss of deposit, and/or a monetary fine.
Payment of the full balance including deposit, rent, tax and cleaning is due no less than thirty days before arrival (or as arranged by management) Pay online, in person or by mail with a credit card, money order or check (a $25.00 fee will be charged to your account for any returned checks). A Security Deposit is due within 24 hours of your request to hold your reservation. Your deposit will be returned to you within 2 weeks of departure.
Rent will be nightly or weekly rates agreed to in contract. A three day minimum will generally apply with longer minimums possible for holidays. Discounts may be available for those guests staying 8 days or longer.
Taxes for the city of SLT will be 10% of the rent total plus $3 per night. Each property requires a
Cleaning Fee that will range between $50 and $150. Guests are asked to leave the property neat and orderly and to put dishes in the dishwasher and sheets in the clothes washer before departure. Excessive cleaning fees will be charged at the discretion of management for: dirty pots/pans/dishes not in dishwasher, extra hot tub service required because of spilled food/beverage or overuse, excessive trash not placed in provided receptacles, rearranged furniture, etc.
Cancellations must be received in writing by ResortTahoe no less than 30 days prior to arrival. After deposit has been received all cancellations are subject to a $50. cancellation fee. If you cancel 30 days or less prior to your arrival you will forfeit your pre-paid deposit and rent. ResortTahoe will make every attempt to re-rent the property and then refund your deposit/rent less the cancellation fee.
Check-out is 10:00 am or earlier. Please leave the keys on the kitchen counter or placed back in lockbox and leave the house locked with the thermostat set to 60 degrees. Guests are asked to maintain premises in a clean, orderly and law abiding manner and will be responsible for repairs, and/or excessive cleaning beyond normal vacation rental wear and tear.
ResortTahoe strives to make each vacation rental everything that a hotel room is not. We feature homes with fully equipped gourmet kitchens, comfortable beds and furnishings in near perfect condition. Each rental is a real home complete with TVs with DVD players, stereos with CD players, hot tubs, patios with outdoor furniture and BBQ, games, toys and the alpine ambiance you’ll enjoy on your next mountain retreat. Please respect the unique décor and furnishings our owners have provided for your enjoyment.
